John Frieda Salons Covid-Secure Salon Guidelines.
PLEASE READ THE BELOW GUIDELINES BEFORE BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT AND BEFORE YOUR VISIT.
Salon visits will be by appointment only. We are doing everything to make sure we can schedule all of our clients.
Due to being only allowed an allocated number of clients in the salon, we may ask you to wait outside in order to regulate the number of people in the salon at any one time.
Our waiting area will be restricted. Please arrive alone and as close to your appointment time as possible. Although we understand that being late is sometimes out of our control, sadly we will not be able to accommodate late appointments that have not contacted the desk to inform us. In order to sanitize all of our equipment, surfaces, and seating before you arrive, our appointment times are paramount in order to keep you and all of our staff safe.
Please wear a face covering at all times. People not wearing a mask or face covering will not be allowed to enter the salon. Disposable face masks and gloves will be available at the desk if you do not have your own.
Please sanitize your hands on arrival. Hand sanitizers will be available all around the salon.
All of our staff will be wearing PPE, including single-use gowns, masks, and face shields whilst doing your hair.
In order to maintain a safe distance within the Government guidelines, we have had to reduce the number of usable chairs and backwashes making them restricted from use. Please be aware of signage.
You will be shown to your seat but please also take note of any new floor signage to help you around the salon keeping a safe distance.
The cloakroom will also be a restricted area. You will be required to keep your belongings with you including your coat. We encourage you to come to your appointment with a minimum amount of bags and belongings.
All food services including tea and coffee will be unavailable until further notice. Water will be available if requested.
Magazines, Newspapers, and all other reading materials will no longer be available.
Although our reception is now fitted with a COVID secure screen, in order to keep the area free, we will ask you to pay for your visit in advance either by phone or on arrival.
All of our staff have a 'Barbicide hygiene certificate' and are trained to the highest level of hygiene and cleanliness. If they themselves have any symptoms, they will be asked to self-isolate for 14 days.
If you feel unwell or have any symptoms prior to your visit please cancel your appointment and stay at home. We will then reschedule an appointment after your 14 day isolation period is over.
